Gamers Gearing Up For Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3

  The typical Tuesday for most students is usually getting homework out of the way, maybe taking naps, maybe even practice for some athletes.

  This Tuesday, however, will be a little different. On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the highly anticipated game Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be released at midnight.

  The game was developed by Infinity Ward and will be available in most stores, including GameStop. With over one million pre-orders for this game, it is looking to be a very highly demanded game.

  "I preordered it about two months ago," said junior Matt Schrader. "I have been waiting for this since last year after BlackOps came out for Xbox."

  Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is supposed to be improving both in the campaign and multiplayer as well.

  One new mode that is added to the multiplayer is called Survival Mode.

  "Survival Mode is what I'm excited to play on this game," said junior Derek Wright. "It kind of resembles zombies from Call of Duty World at War. I used to play that game non-stop. It was defiantly one of my favorite things to play on that game."

  Modern Warfare 3 will also have revamped the kill streak system. The kill streak will now be called point system.   

  Completing objectives will also now be rewarded towards yours point streaks.

  The sniping is something that will be a little different as well. On BlackOps sniping tended to be not used as much. One element that might bring fans back to the sniping aspect will be the adding of quick scoping back into Call of Duty.

  "I'm pretty excited for it," said sophomore Joe Wheeler. "People are going to enjoy the game a lot more because everybody I've played with talked about how good they were at quick scoping."

  Whether you're good or not, the element is a good aspect to have.

  "I'm not that good at it," said Wheeler. "I have always enjoyed trying to make myself better at it. It gives an element to the game where you feel like there is something always to get better at."

  On a Tuesday night students typically will be in bed by 12. One Nov. 8, though, it is going to be a completely different night.

  GameStop will be packed. Lines will be going out of the store. This game is defiantly going to be a game people are going to want.

  Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is going to be one of the best games of the holiday season.
