Wrestling

The Muskingum University wrestling team finished ninth at the Waynesburg Invitational.

Sophomore Luke Weber finished third in the 197 weight class. He ended the day with a 3-1 record and two falls.

Ronnie Hepner placed fourth in the 165 weight class. He finished the day with a 3-2 record with three pins.

Mitch King placed fifth in the 174 weight class and ended with a 4-2 record.

Patrick McKerman also finished fifth in the 125 weight class. He ended the invitational with a 3-2 record.

Malachi Bluhn ended the day placing sixth in the 184 weight class with an ending record of 3-3.

The Muskies next task will come Jan. 13 and 14 at Lycoming National Duals.

Men's Basketball

Muskingum University Men's basketball beat Otterbein University with a score of 67-66.

With the win, Muskingum is 5-9 overall and 2-5 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Senior Josh Brindley led the team with a total of 19 points and six rebounds.

Senior Kyle Clinedinst added 13 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

First-year Logan Kimble made himself be known with 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Senior Carson Thomas scored the game-winning shot for the Muskies with eight seconds left to play.

The Muskies ended the game shooting .467 (25-of-60) from the field.

Women's Basketball

Muskingum University Women's basketball fell to Otterbein University with a score of 71-57.
