Muskies fall 42-23 to Capital University

On Jan. 14, the Muskingum Fighting Muskies men's basketball team took on the Capital University Crusaders.

The starting five for the Muskies were Isaiah Shakespeare, Carson Thomas, Josh Brindley, Logan Kimble and Kyle Clinedinst.

By halftime, Musingum led the Crusaders 39-34 with 10 points in the paint, 10 points off of turnovers, four second chance points and six bench points.

However, with eight turnovers by the Muskies in the second half, the Crusaders outscored the Muskies 42-23. The Crusaders came out on top with 24 points in the paint, 17 points over turnovers, eight second chance points, and 14 bench points.

The Muskies dropped to 3-6 in conference play and 6-10 overall, putting them second to last in the OAC standings.
