Muskingum senior forward Kyle Clinedinst has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week in Men's Basketball and Muskingum sophomore indoor track and field thrower Tanisha Ford has been named the OAC Player of the Week in Women's Indoor Track.
Clinedinst sparked a victory against OAC-leading John Caroll University with a 28-point career-best performance. He also had a team-high 18 points against Ohio Northern.
On the year, Clinedinst stacks up seventh in the OAC in scoring (15.4 ppg) and second in rebounding (9.1 rpg).
Ford led the Muskies at the Marietta College Open Meet on Saturday with a school record toss of 47.1 feet in the weight throw en route to finishing first in the event. The throw beat the previous record set by Ford in December by almost two feet.
She placed second in the weight throw (45-2) and third in shot put (34-8) this past weekend at the Ohio Wesleyan meet.
