The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a program that will be extending its services to Muskingum University this year to help disabled students on campus get summer, or even full-time, employment through federal and private work sites throughout the United States.
This program is a chance for students to really take part in their community, and possibly advance into a field of their desired major.
On Oct. 26 there will be a representative visiting the university to further explain about the program and meet with anyone that is considering taking part in this program and obtaining a job.
Gregg Miller, a Muskingum student who is getting to know a little more about the Workforce Recruitment Program, is hoping to be benefited by the Workforce Recruitment Program.
"I do want to look into this," said Miller. "It seems like a good chance to improve myself even with a disability to juggle".
When interviewing Miller it seemed that it meant a lot to him to have this opportunity.
"I have Attention Deficit Disorder, and I usually spend much more time studying than the average student," said Miller.
Miller has high hopes for the program.
"I'm hoping that this program can help me find a job, and not just find a job, but one that will help me excel further in it and also in life," said Miller.
The Workforce Recruitment Program has strong intentions for this year, and they are looking to help anyone they can. If anyone has any questions about the program, there are papers in Career Services office in the TOC on the interview process, along with applications for the program.
